Long ago in the land of Israel on the age of kings they prayed in the temple of God and prayed very hard and the Lord usually answered their prayer through prophets. God told the message that he wanted to tell to the king to a prophets and then the prophets will meet the king and told him what Lord god had instructed him to tell the king. Most of the things done by God in first hand, God sometime appears in their dreams, spoke to them directly through thin air, or giving signs in a miracles forms.

Now we are in the time after Jesus has resurrected and things has change very much. Now spirit lives in me, Jesus has sent his holy spirit to those who seek and those who seek will be given. In what way do God speak to us right now?

For me i think it is very nice if someone can tell me messages from God just like what God does to Israel Kings through prophets. Up to now, not much direct miracles has been seen by me. In the old time, rivers splits, fire from heaven destroy cities and people and food fall down from skies which it witnessed by Israel only.

  • Will we see this miracles in this time as a non Jewish people?
  • Why don’t we see such a miracles like what Jewish did?
  • Did the Jewish people still see great miracles now, like what their ancestors did?
  • I didn’t see such a great miracles yet, does mean that i am not forgiven yet?

I guess the only miracles that i witness was demons was sent out from a person in the name of Jesus. I admit i was freaked out by the person who is possessed by demons. He is shouting fiercely and some vomited but nothing comes out from their mouth. I was shaking at that time because i have guilt in me. But now i don’t afraid of those stuff anymore because i know that i am protected by faith in Jesus name.

1st Corinthians

1. People are really saying that there is sexual sin among you. And it is such a bad kind of sexual sin that it does not happen even among those people that don’t know god. People say that a man there has his father’s wife. And still you are proud of yourselves! You should have been filled with sadness. And the man that did that sin should be put out of your group. My body is not there with you, but I am with you in spirit. And I have already judged the man who did that sin. I judged him the same as I would if I were really there. Come together in the name of our lord Jesus. I will be with you in spirit, and you will have the power of our lord Jesus with you. Then give this man to Satan, so that his sinful self will be destroyed. Then his spirit can be saves on the day of the lord. (1st Corinthians 5:1-5)

2. I wrote to you in my letter that you should not associate with people that sin sexually. But I did not mean that you should not associate with the sinful people of this world. Those people of the world sin sexually, or they are greedy and cheat each other, or they worship idols. To get away form those people you would have to leave this world. I am writing to tell you that the person you must not associate with is this: any person that calls himself a brother in Christ but sins sexually, or is greedy, or worships idols, or talk’s bad to people, or gets drunk, or cheats people. Don’t even eat with a person like that. (1st Corinthians 5:9-11)

3. It is not my business to judge those people that are not part of the church. God will judge those people. But you must judge the people that are part of the church. The scriptures say, “Take the evil person out of your group.” (1st Corinthians 5:12-13)

4. The lawsuits that you have against each other show that you are already defeated. It would be better for you to let someone do wrong against you! But you yourselves do wrong and cheat! And you do this to other believers in Christ! Surely you know that he people that do wrong will not get God’s kingdom. Don’t be fooled. These people will not get God’s kingdom: people that sin sexually, people that worship idols, people that do the sin of adultery, men that let other men use them for sex or that have sex with other men, people that steal, people that are greedy, people that get drunk, people that say bad thing to other people, and people that cheat. In the past, some of you were like that. But you were washed clean, you were made holy, and you were made right with God in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the spirit of our God. (1st Corinthians 6:7-11)

5. “All things are allowed for me.” But not all things are good. “All things are allowed for me.” But I will not let anything be my master. “Food is for the stomach, and the stomach for good.” Yes. And God will destroy them both. But the body is not for sexual sin. The body is for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body. And God will raise our bodies form death with the same power he used to raise the Lord Jesus. God will also raise us from death. Surely you know that your bodies are parts of Christ himself. So I must never take the parts of Christ and join those parts to prostitute! The scriptures say, “The two people will become one.” So you should know that a person that sexually joins himself with a prostitute become one with her in body. But the person who joins himself with the Lord is one with the Lord in spirit. (1st Corinthians 6:12-16)

6. So run away form sexual sin. Every other sin that a person does is outside his body. But the person that sins sexually sin against his own body. You should know that your body is a temple for the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is in you. You have received the Holy Spirit form God. You don’t own your selves. You were bought by God at a price. So honor God with your bodies. (1st Corinthians 6:18-20)

7. Now I will discuss the things you wrote\ to me about. It is good for a man not to marry. But sexual sin is danger. So each man should have his own wife. And each woman should have her own husband. The husband should give his wife all that she should have as his wife. And the wife should give her husband all that he should have as her husband. The wife does not have power over her own body. Her husband has the power over her body. And the husband does not have power over his body. Don’t refuse to give your bodies to each other. But you might both agree to stay away from sex for a time. You might do this so that you can give your time to prayer. Then come together again. This is so that Satan cannot tempt you in your weakness. I say this to give you permission to be separated for a time. It is not a command. I wish all people were like me. But each person has his own gift from God. One person has one gift. Another person has another gift. (1st Corinthians 7:1-7)

8. Now for the people who are not married and for the widows I say this: t is good for them to stay single like me. But if they cannot control their bodies, then they should marry. It is better to marry than to burn with sexual desire. Now I give this command for married people. (The command is not from me; it is from the Lord) a wife must not leave her husband. But if a wife leaves her husband she must not marry again. Or she should go back together with her husband. Also the husband must not divorce his wife. For all other people I say this (I am saying these things, not the Lord); a brother in Christ might have a wife who is not a believer. If she will live with him, then he must not divorce her. And a woman might have a husband who is not a believer. If he will live with her, then she must not divorce him. The husband who is not a believer is made holy through her believing husband. If this were not true, then your children would not be clean. But now your children are holy but if the person who is not a believer decides to leave, let that person leave. When this happens, the brother or sister in Christ is free. God called you to a life a peace. Wives, maybe you will save your husband; and husbands, maybe you will save your wife. You don’t know now what will happen later. (1st Corinthians 7:10-16)

9. But each person should continue to live the way the Lord God has given you to live—the way you were when God called you. This is a rule I make in all the churches. If a man was already circumcised when he was called then he should not change his circumcision. If a man was without circumcision when he was called, then he should not be circumcised. It is not important if a person is circumcised or not circumcised. The important thing is obeying God’s command. Each person should stay the way he was when God called him. If you were a slave when God called you, don’t let that bother you. But if you can be free, then become free. The person who was a slave when the Lord called him is free in the Lord. That person belongs to the Lord. In the same way, the person who was free when he was called is now Christ’s slave. You people were brought at a price. So don’t become slaves of men. Brothers and sisters, in you new life with God each one of you should continue the way you were when you were called. (1st Corinthians 7:17-24)

10. Now I write about people who are not married. I have no command from the Lord about his. But I gave my opinion. And I can be trusted, because the Lord has given me mercy. This is a time of trouble. So I think that it is good for you to stay the way you are. If you have a wife, then don’t try to become free from her. If you are not married, then don’t try to find a wife. But if you decide to marry, that is not a sin. And it is not a sin for a girl that has never married to get married. But those people who marry will have trouble in this life. I want you to be free from this trouble. (1st Corinthians 7:25-28)

11. Brothers and sisters, this is what I mean: we don’t have much time left. So starting now, people who have wives should use their time to serve the lord like they don’t have wives. People who are sad should live like they are not sad. People who are happy should live like they are not happy. People who but things should live like they own nothing. People who use the things of the world should live like those things are not important to them. You should live like this, because this world, the way it is now, will soon be gone. I want you to be free from worry. A man who is not married is busy with the Lord’s work. He is trying to please the Lord. But a man who is married is busy with things of the world. He is trying to please his wife. He must think about two things—pleasing his wife and pleasing the Lord. A woman who is not married or a girl who has never married is busy with the lord’s work. She wants to give herself fully—body and soul—to the Lord. But a married woman is busy with things of the world. She is trying to please her husband. I am saying these things to help you. I am not trying to limit you. But I want you to live in the right way. And I want you to give yourselves fully to the Lord without giving you time to other things. (1st Corinthians 7:29-35)

12. A man might think that he is not doing the thing with his virgin daughter if she is almost past the best age to marry. So he might think that marriage is necessary. He should do what he wants. He should let them marry… it is no sin. But another man might be more sure in his mind. There may be no need for marriage, so that he is free to do what he wants. If this person had decided in his own heart to keep is virgin unmarried, then he is doing the right thing. So the person who dives his virgin daughter in marriage does right. And the person who does not give his virgin daughter in marriage dies better. A woman must stay with her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, the woman is free to marry any man she wants. But she must marry in the Lord. The woman is happier if she does not marry again. This is my opinion, and I believe that I have God’s spirit. (1st Corinthians 7:36-40)

13. Now I will write about meat that is sacrificed to idols. We know that we all have knowledge.” “Knowledge” puff you up full of pride. But love makes you help others grow stronger. The person who thinks he knows something does not yet know anything like he should. But the person who loves God is known by God. (1st Corinthians 8:1-3)

14. But not all people know this. Some people have had the habit of worshiping idols until now. So now when those people eat meat, they still fell like it belongs to an idol. They are not sure that it is right to eat this meat. So when they eat it, they feel guilty. But food will not make us close to God. Refusing to ear does not make us less pleasing to God. And eating does not make us better. (1st Corinthians 8:7-8)

A very good scripture i’ve learn.

1st Corinthians

1. Jesus will keep you strong always until the end. He will keep you strong, so that there will be not wrong in you on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God is faithful. He is the one who has called you to share life with his son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (1st Corinthians 1:8-9)

2. Christ did not give me the work of baptizing people. Christ gave me the work of telling the good news. But Christ sent me to tell the good news without using works of worldly wisdom. If I used worldly wisdom to tell good news, then the cross of Christ would lose its power. (1st Corinthians 1:17)

3. The teaching about the cross seems foolish to those people that are lost. But to us who are being saved it is the power of God. Like the scriptures say, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise people. I will confuse the understanding of the intelligent people.” Isaiah 29:14 where is the wise person? Where is the educated person? Where is the philosopher of this time? God has made the wisdom of the world foolish. This is what God with his wisdom wanted: the world did not know God through the worlds own wisdom. So God used the message that sounds foolish to save the people that believe it. The Jews ask for miracles as proofs. The Greek want wisdom. But this is the message we tell everyone: Christ was killed on a cross. This message is a big problem to the Jews. And the non-Jews think it is foolish. But Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God to those people that God has called—Jews and Greeks (non-Jews). Even the foolishness of God is wise then human wisdom. Even the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. (1st Corinthians 1:18-25)

4. Brothers and sisters, God called you. Think about that! And not many of you were wise in the way the world judges wisdom. Not many of you had great influence. Not many of you came from important families. But God chose the foolish things of the world go give shame to the wise people. God chose the weak things of the world to give shame to the strong people. And go chose what the world thinks is not important. He chose what the world hates and thinks is nothing. God chose these to destroy what the world thinks is important. God did this so that no man can boast before him. It is God that has made you part of Christ Jesus. Christ has become wisdom for us from God. Christ is the reason we are right with God and have freedom from sin; Christ is the reason we are holy. So, like the scriptures say, “if a person boasts, that person should boast only in the Lord.” (1st Corinthians 1:26-31)

Below are the scripture reading that i’ve extracted today…..
Enjoy your self……..

1. We are strong with faith. So we should help the people who are weak. We should help those people with their weaknesses. We should not try to please ourselves. Each of us should please other people. We should o this to help them. We should try to help them be stronger in faith. Even Christ did not live trying got please himself. It was like the scripture said about him: ?Those people that insulted you have also insulted me.? Everything that was written in the past was written to teach us. Those things were written so that we could have hope. That hope comes from the patience and the strength that the scriptures give us. (Romans 15:1-4)

2. Patience and strength come from God. And I pray that God will help you all agree together the way Christ Jesus wants. Then you will all be joined together. And all together you will give glory to God the father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Christ accepted you. So you should accept each other. This will bring glory to God. I tell you that Christ became a servant of the Jews to show that what God promises is true. Christ also did this so that the non-Jews could give glory to God for the mercy he gives to them. The scriptures say, ?so I will give thanks to you among the non-Jewish people; I will sing praise to you name.? Psalm 18:49 and the scriptures also say ?Praise the Lord all you non-Jews; all people should praise the Lord.? Deuteronomy 32:43 and Isaiah, ?A person will come from Jesse?s family that person will come to rule over the non-Jews; and the non-Jews will have he because of that person.? Isaiah 11:10 (Romans 15:5-12)

3. I pray that the God who gives hope will fill you with much joy and peace while you trust in him. Then you will have more and more hope, and it will flow out of you by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)

4. Then if God wants me to, I will come to you. I will come with joy, and together you and I will have a time of rest. The God that gives peace be with you all. Amen. (Romans 15:32-33)

5. When you see each other, say hello with a holy kiss. All of Christ?s churches say hello to you. Brothers and sisters, I ask you to be very careful of those people that cause people to be against each other. Be very careful of those people that upset other people?s faith. Those people are against the true teaching you learned. Stay away from those people. People like that are not serving our Lord Christ. They are only doing things to please themselves. They use fancy talk and say nice things to fool the people that don?t know about evil. All the believers have hard that you obey. So I am very happy because of you. But I want you to be wise about the things that are good. And I want you to know nothing about thing that are evil (Romans 16:17-19)
