mcMouse
0Apple has just release their latest mouse and given a funny name, Mighty Mouse. Since they give funny names for their latest mouse, I also don’t want to miss this chance to join their club by naming them a better one, I call it mcMouse

"Mighty Mouse" but i like to call it mcMouse http://www.apple.com/mightymouse/
Sorry to Apple, I just can’t help it to name them mcMouse instead of macMouse. It makes me think, why they wanted to name them Mighty Mouse rather then other names. I guess, the world don’t have any free name to choose from. Why? Every company when coming out with new product they will register the name and copyrighted them and if anyone uses them, finance will suffer and the lawyer will be happy. Now there are too many names that are copyrighted and this makes the world hard to gives names to their product.
Ok, back to “Mighty Mouse”. To tell you the truth, I’ve never own a Mac before. I only use Mac product when I’m at Apple Store and my University have few Mac G4 and I’ve played with it for a little while. The greatest complain about the Mac Mouse is that it only have one button. I’m a person from the “World of Windows” (“I hate M$”) who has been using it for many years now. I’ve very used to right click which give more functions to user rather then moving the mouse to the Menu and click the functions there. The first time I tried Mac Mouse, I tried to right click for many time not realizing that there isn’t any right button. After a while, I looked at the mouse and found out that there’s only one button (embarrassed). No doubt that the Mac Mouse looked very eye catching and confirmable to grab on. But without right click I just can’t survive using it.
Now, they come out with mcMouse, that have a lot more features then previous version. It now has one button look but have multiple buttons hidden in it. Look at the picture above to figure out what I mean. The now have wheel less scroll for both horizontal and vertical scrolling. It also capable of doing diagonal scrolling which mean it can perform 8direction of scrolling. Designers, cheer for this feature in mcMouse. With 8 point scrolling, it will make the job of designers very much more productive. I myself also an AMATURE designer (coz I dare not say that I’m a pro coz someone out there will whack me).
Oops! I’ve made some error above. The mouse don’t have any button at all, it’s all touch sensitive and don’t have any button that control clicks. And the side button is also force sensitive button.
Wow! I have to agree that Apple is the most innovative company in the world. I can say this mouse is overkill. I would like to have one but I live in so, the mouse cost USD$49 and change them to my local currency is USD$49 x 3.7460 = RM 183.55. So it’s a too expensive for a mouse in . For those whose money isn’t that worth much for you can donate, I’m very willing to accept.
